A great tee

A girl can never have too many tops. Especially stripe ones. And we think this TL Wood tee is pick of the bunch this season. So comfy and flattering. A wardrobe staple for years and years.

Bright Star singlet

She's a star alright. Just the kind of top to take you from morning to night and back again without so much as a loose thread. My kind of girl.

By Fleur Wood.

Kate Sylvester interprets the Pretty Woman dress

It's true. Pretty Woman was a regressive social commentary that set feminism back fifty years. But boy was it entertaining. And who could forget that dress?

I loved it then and I love it now. I even loved Richard Gere - he was nowhere near as creepy as that time he played a dying Winona Ryder's old boyfriend in Autumn in New York*.

There's nothing like a great print...

Sure, you can always go all classic and neutral and safe, but there's nothing quite like a great print. And Secret Squirrel do them so well. Gardenia inspired, this frock makes me want to take the day off and have some fun. Yippee.

Don't be afraid

I admit it. I am a little scared of the crop top. In general, such a garment makes me think of girls at Highpoint who want to look like Gwen Stefani, or that guy from Jersey Shore who is obsessed with his 6 pack.

But now I'm thinking, maybe I was wrong. Maybe a cropped blouse can be sweet and flattering and just the thing to wear with a high waist this Spring. I love this version by Strummer. It's so wearable and totally not teenager at a shopping mall.

A lovely versatile frock

I can see this frock at the races, a Sunday afternoon picnic or even a weekend away in the country. The kind of dress you'll never regret. By Sylvester. In store now.

Frisck's frockapalooza continues...

Yippee. Frisck's spring racing frockapalooza continues with more lovelies from TL Wood. This print Minnie dress is so flattering and versatile. No need to save it for race day. The weather may have taken a turn for the worst (thanks Melbourne), so layer, layer, layer with a cardi and tights.

Time to start thinking about...the races

Spring is in the air, which means the racing season is about to begin. We love this TL Wood frock. First of all, it has sleeves. And a lovely waist detail. And splashes of mustard on a divine floaty fabric that create splashes of colour without being OTT.

Yes. It's pretty much perfect.
