Winging it

Let's face it - winging it is a fundamental life skill that enables us to make it through each day. Personally, I rely on it a lot.

But I don't think Life with Bird were winging it when they created this lovely transeasonl frock. Layer this beautiful winged dress with opaques and ankle boots and you'll look thoroughly put together.

Easy going with great colour

Even though I am married, I sometimes like to read the personals and imagine what I would write about myself. GSOH. Maybe. NS. Yes. But, sadly, as a Virgo, easy going is one description I could not put down without lying.

But his dress by Antipodium? She's as easy going as they come. She doesn't care if it's cold or hot - she's perfect all year round. And in a lovely olive green, she's my go-to piece for Autumn.

And yes, she loves romantic dinners for two and walks on the beach.

The perfect scarf

Just because a celebrity wears something doesn't mean it's stylish, right? Hello Jessica Simpson.

But the fact that these Tolani scarves are all over Hollywood makes sense. They are amazing and just the thing for brightening ones spirits on a drab Melbourne day. We are in love.

A conversation with myself

Frugal me: Hmmm...I don't really need a new dress.
Splurgy me: But this one is so pretty.
Frugal me: I'm supposed to be saving for my future.
Splurgy me: Future, smuture. Live in the now!
Frugal me: They won't have the pension when you're old, you know. And you acutally need to buy groceries and pay the mortgage.
Splurgy me: Ha! So boring.
Frugal me: You DON'T need a new dress.
Splurgy me: It's from Zimmermann's new 'conversation' collection. I love conversations. Don't you?

New stock has arrived!

This shirt reminds me of a blouse I wore constantly during my stint as a Rasa Rani-wearing teenager. It was an op-shop find, but so sweet, and probably one of the few tasteful items I owned. Admittedly I teamed it with a cheesecloth maxi skirt and converse, but hey, it was the 90s.

But what better way to kick off the beginning of our amazing autumn range, than with this cute-as-can-be Fleur Wood shirt? So great for trans-seasonal dressing. Irresistible.
