Belts are an underrated accessory. They can change the shape of an ensemble in two seconds flat, yet they so often remain the overlooked middle child.
No more!
Belts. It's your time to shine. I mean, when you're wearing grass green patent leather around your middle, what else is there to do?

The stripe we all need
Every girl needs a stripe or two in her wardrobe. Especially when a chilly spell hits and layering is a must. We love these babywool knits by Cable. Perfect for making those summery dresses go the distance.

New Kate Sylvester and Sylvester in store now
If there's one thing that makes Kate Sylvester a sartorial genius, it's her ability to know exactly what women want to wear year in, year out. So naturally, I want all these pieces. Who, afterall, doesn't need a great knit and a few cute tops to wear with skirts and pants?
And mother's day is coming up...
Hint, hint.

The Bell Jar
My ideal night back in the 90s? Lying on my futon reading The Bell Jar while The Smiths played in the background.
Argh!
At least we all know Sylvia Plath had great style and that dishy husband of hers, well...
Which brings me to Fleur Wood's Bell Jar cardi. Much less depressing than its namesake, and so perfect for the cold mornings that have suddenly embraced our Melbourne streets.
You can see it effortlessly thrown over the shoulder of one of our Frisck girls here.

Just the sweater
Hello. Melbourne. What are you doing to me? One minute it's freezing, the next I'm sweating like Meatloaf on the Celebrity Apprentice when he was about to be booted off. Argh.
That's why I love this Something Else sweater. A perfect layering piece that's not too hot when the sun comes out. Perfection.
