It's French-tastic

Everyone knows the French have great style and a mythological way of eating croissants without stacking it on. This 'Frenchie' tank by Woodford and Co is a croissant-eating classic if you ask me. Perfect for sitting in cafes with a cafe au lait and a French-language version of Madame Bovary that you can't understand. I'm just saying...

Winter break

It's never too late to book last-minute tickets to an exotic and, more importantly, sunny location for a winter/early spring retreat. Of course, one needs a pretty dress for such an occasion. Thanks Zimmermann for coming up with the goods.

Everyone goes on about the LBD and how every girl must have at least one. Admittedly, I have about 10, but that is beside the point. Another often overlooked wardrobe essential would have to be the t-dress. So easy and comfy and perfect for any occasion. We love this tank-version by Zimmermann - whose collection Frisck blog readers will be seeing a lot more of in the coming weeks.

I love polkadots

While I still remember the flak Joan Kirner received for her polkadot dress, I will, without a doubt, continue to wear polkadots no matter how old and how fat I become. And right now, I'm thinking this Rittenhouse tank would make a wonderful addition to my dotty collection. Honestly, look at this cute top. How could anyone consider polkadots to be a fashion crime?

Spellbound

It's no wonder Life With Bird call this dress 'spellbound'. Just looking at it makes me feel a bit magical. Hello sun?! Please come out so I can wear this piece of bewitching brilliance.

Something else?

I can see why people join religious cults. There is something about being part of a tribe, knowing your place, having faith in a predetermine destiny that is undeniably appealing. Of course, there is a downside. I'd rather pass on the Kool-aid and the thought of turning out like Tom Cruise is disturbing.
